16 June 2013: Calm conditions were responsible for smooth water which in turn made for a super serene Sunday morning paddle.

Great reflections from Kings Avenue Bridge as I headed into the Main Basin

Every where you looked there was mirror reflections

Canberra’s Golden Lightsaber

Pastel pinks the west

Greeting a day

Reverse shot….the camera is placed on my head for this one.

Looks like a gold treasure chest

Great point of view

It all about seeing the sun pop up each day.

The reflections are still wild, but now I’m in the western basin.

What a morning out there….love the serene Sunday experience.
Beautiful shots Paul. Especially like the golden carillon? (Has it been renamed, or is this another structure – or is that an alternative description?) Wishing you a great week ahead.
Hi Valerie,
That is the Carillon for sure. It tried to make it a bit more abstract. I was quite pleased how it turned out…although I think that it took me 60 shots to capture it! That’s the beauty of digital hey 🙂
Amazing photos Paul, have very much enjoyed viewing your website, so beautiful, will continue to view with pleasure 🙂
Hey Nerida,
So glad you like the photos and that you will continue having a look. We certainly get some beautiful sunrises and sunsets here hey.
