15 Sept 2013: I sliced my way through super glassy waters for a massive 4 hour session this morning. It was so nice to glide my way into the wetlands for a very relaxed start to the day. After returning back to the east basin I decided to paddle my down through the main basin to Spring bank Island as the conditions were so smooth. Yet again there wasn’t any need for speed at all, especially on a Sunday.

5.39am: Seeing double this morning as the water was so glassy

The clouds looked fantastic early on…really nice tones at this time of the morning.

Heading my way into the wetlands

There may have not been a stunning light show, but the water was sooooo smooth.

The green room.

Mooooooo

Even had a bit of balloon spotting along the way.

Four balloons are better than one.

Heading towards Springbank Island.

Half way rest stop at Springbank Island. It was a huge paddle this morning, just couldn’t stop as the water was near perfect.

Marbled reflections everywhere

The Red Chilli was like a glass cutter this morning, slicing its way through the mirrored waters of LBG.

Even the reflections off the bridge looked good 🙂

You can see why I always return back calm and at ease, hope you have a great Sunday.
