21 Nov 2013: What and optical feast the sunrise was this morning. I am continually blown away by the amount of beautiful sunrises and sunsets that Canberra continually produces. Every day has its own unique signature, one day I’ll be floating amongst the mist, the next morning I’ll be treated to gorgeous golden tones with pastels pinks to west. Then to top it all off you are gob smacked with sunrise like the one this morning where at one stage it looked as if liquid lava was floating on the surface.

Its amazing how the wind seems to drop 20 minutes before the days ignition.
What an optical feast!
The hardest part was trying to select which shots to load.
The pastel swirls were very cool.
5.35am: Now we are moving onto the next stage of the lightshow
Going into high fire!
We have ignition.
This morning I was totally mesmerised by this stunning sunrise. I hope that you enjoyed the shots 🙂
All I can say is; “I am well and truly addicted to seeing as many sunrises and sunsets as possible. What a great addiction to have”.

I was so nice to be able take in a sunset on the water. ‘Dads Taxi’ is usually in full flight in the afternoons. I was lucky that the weather gods looked after me and turned on a great spectacle. Thanks for clicking onto the site and commenting…so glad you like the shots….All the best….Paul
