30 Dec 2013: Soft pastel tones preceded the light of day with the sound of waves crashing onto the shore line. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on Shelley Beach, Crescent Head this morning watching yet another day unfold.
“What we do is less than a drop in the ocean. But if it were missing, the ocean would lack something.” – Mother Teresa

5.18am. I’m looking forward to seeing how it will unfold

Nice pink tones were forming behind the clouds

I decided to sit down on Shelley Beach and take it all in.

The sounds of the waves crashing on the shoreline were so calming.

They also made for a few nice shots as well.

Now the sun is beginning to burn through

One of my fav’s from this morning.

So peaceful

It doesn’t matter how you experience your sunrise, the main thing is that you are there to see it

Hi Paul….The colours are beautiful again today but I also love the additional quirk of the people sometimes. When will your book be available? I’m sure Kai and I will be looking for it. Cheers, Jen
Thanks so much Jen, it was yet again another beautiful beginning. I’m trying to source a printer that will make the book more affordable. On demand printing is very expensive, especially when the book is a large landscape / hard cover / dust jacket. See how I go in the new year. I’ll definitely let you know 🙂
Take care
Paul
Hi there You mentioned sometime ago of a calendar is this still an option Hope so Cheers Judy
Really hope so. I just made a desk calendar online of some of my home grown shots. Was fairly easy in the end, hope you do it. What a way to start each day!
Hopefully it will be out in the new year. I have the shots and the desired layout etc.
Cheers 🙂
Hi Judy,
I hoped to have it out for Dec 2013, but I have broken promises from a printer in Canberra. It was very frustrating and I had assurances in Nov that all would be OK. Hopefully in the new year once I source a reliable and printer it will be out. Sorry about that.
Paul
No kayak but a whole new level of wow! Amazing capture of the foam and rocks. New camera? Just beautiful, thanks for the sunshine.
Cheers CC,
It was nice to capture the sunrise from land and show it from a different perspective. No new camera yet. I’m still using my ‘Pocket Rocket’ Canon Powershot D20. Still saving up for a DSLR Canon to accompany my underwater D20.
So glad that you liked the shots 🙂
Hi Paul. We met you photographing the killick creek bridge as we were walking over it on 30 dec early evening. Would love one of the pics. Thanks
Hey John,
If you send me through an email to kayakcameraman@iinet.net.au
and I’ll happily sent through the shot. Nice meeting you yesterday
Paul
