11 Jan 2014: Tonight I cruised my into an amazing sunset. It started with blue mirrored waters and it continued to evolve into a beautiful golden sunset. I don’t get the chance to experience to many of them, so tonight’s cruise on Lake Burley Griffin was a very enjoyable one.

Reflections like this always put a huge smile on my dial 🙂

I was cruising the waterways without a care in the world.

Nothing like kicking back and enjoying your ride.

Time to slow down and take in a stunning Canberra sunset.

Great end to a great day!

Feeling very relaxed about now.

Paddle Portal into a wonderful world. Ciao from the Red Chilli and I.
Wonderful pic.
Thanks Leggypeggy, we have had some beautiful sunrises and sunsets lately. I’m having a brilliant time. All the best
Another stunning series of captures, Paul – thank you so much for sharing. I like the way you use your paddle as a mirror of reflections; well done!
Thanks Valerie,
It amazing how the paddle casts such a different perspective on the image. It all started when a reflection caught my eye once and since then I have been having so much fun with it.
Have a great day.
Simply brilliant mate. Outstanding.
But sunset. It confuses me.
Cheers Colin,
Its not that often I get the chance to experience the sunset from the water as I am usually standing on a soccer sideline somewhere 🙂
I really enjoy my Saturday night cruise on Lake Burley Griffin.
All the best mate.
Just so gorgeous. The range of colours you capture over one outing is quite amazing. Thanks again for your daily tonic. Cheers
Hi Jenny,
I agree, the colour change that takes place during a 15 minute transformation is extensive. I’m just so happy to be able (or try to) capture and re-tell it via a photo story. I love how you called it my daily tonic…very good!
Can I use that in the future? That is so spot on.
Have a good week.
Of course…..I’d be glad to give you something in return for the real pleasure you deliver into my office every day 😉 You have a good week too.
Fantastic stuff…thanks!
