11 March 2014: I was totally mesmerised this morning as a gorgeous sunrise combined perfectly with brilliant balloon display to produce an amazing spectacle. Simply stunning is the best way to describe my experience on the lake this morning. I even latched on the basket of the ‘Capital Chemist’ balloon and was taken for (at least) a 100 metre ride as Justin Galbraith glided the balloon on the water surface. I think I will be floating for the rest of the day…..It just doesn’t get any better than this!
What an optical feast.
There is no better way to start the day!
The early morning tones were sublime
The timing was perfect. At this point I had the biggest smile on my face.
Totally mesmerised…WOW!
The girls were have a great time out the water as well.
Now it’s time for a bit of balloon chasing
The RAAF balloon was leading the way.
The skies were alive with balloons
This sums up exactly how I felt!
Wow…wow…wow
Simply stunning.
It’s amazing how quiet it is out on the water.
I’m just about the grab a tow across the lake with the Capital Chemist Balloon.
The ‘Drifting Guru’ kept on going well after I let go.
The morning definitely kicked plenty of goals
There were balloons drifting everywhere.
It’s such a peaceful experience.
The pilots have put on another amazing display once again.
Picture perfect. Glassy water and crystal clear skies…OH YEAH!
That was totally amazing. I think it will be along time till ill experience something like that again.
