6 April 2013: Balloons were floating overhead, scull’s were flying by, kayakers were cruising the water ways and plenty of walkers /joggers were treated to an awesome autumn morning on Lake Burley Griffin. Mystical soft tones set the scene ,dull skies turned red to orange, then the morning clouds combined with the sun and turned the skies into a painters palate.
A mystical start to the morning
The light fog was just starting to chase me into the main basin.
Then the morning began to give me idea of what colour it would the treat to this morning.
Two minutes on and the light show began.
I just had to turn around to see what change had taken place. The colour changes so quickly.
The morning scullers flying past.
Now onto the light show
How good is that!
The ‘Red Chilli” always points me in the right direction.
But it was great to see so many other people out and about taking it all in

I was in the big EU balloon – it was fantastic! The pilot told us to look you up later! Did you see us waving?
Hey Yvette, I saw you all waving from up there and I was waving back. The EU balloon looked great in the air. How good was that sunrise? Hey what is the view like from the balloon? The view was fantastic! It was a really special experience. We didn’t get in the air until the sun had risen so we pretty much missed the sunrise! I hope you get to do it sometime soon. There’s a pic of you on my blog too.

We landed between the Aboriginal Multicultural Centre and Scrivener Dam. The landing was great fun! We screamed and laughed – and repeat. LOL.
