22 Sept 2013: I’m not going to rant and rave how stunning it was or how the water soooooo perfect that you couldn’t tell which way was really up and how the morning transformation took me on a visual journey that was so soothing. I’ll let the photostory do exactly that.

5.23am: Even when I arrived it had all the making of a great morning

Seeing things through the Red Chilli’s eyes.

Spot light

Chilli – vision

We were in super relax mode!

The cloud formations were wild

Into the vortex I go.

5.53am: Here we go, another stunner sunrise.

Golden stepping stones.

Just could get enough of those reflections.

Golden Mist

6.01am: super smooth waters always put a huge smile on the dial.

Two worlds.

Into the main basin and I’m still slicing through glass.
Your photos are just amazing. I love them all, and the pre-dawn one with the setting moon just captures my imagination.
Thanks so much judysbirds. I am so lucky to be able to experience so many stunning sunrises, I am well and truly addicted. I don’t know what it is but we always seem to have beautiful weather and great sunrises when there is a full moon. It certainly creates and amazing atmosphere.
