3 OCT 2013: Sheer beauty and elegance would be the best way to describe this morning’s sunrise. It was such a subtle transformation with the predawn orange tones changing to pastel pinks, then finishing off with a striking sun burning in the horizons haze. I hope you enjoy the shots from Bonville creek, Sawtell.
4.48am and I’m greeted with orange tones to the east as I rounded the corner.
I knew straight away that I was in for another treat this morning.

5.08am: Now were are entering into the elegant stage of the transition.
The tones are so subtle
I paddled up to the mouth of Bonville Creek (meets the ocean) and drifted my in with the incoming tide. So nice and peaceful.
This sunrise got a huge thumbs up from me this morning.
