6 Nov 2013: I was totally mesmerised by the mist this morning. There wasn’t any need for speed at all so I decided to kick back and float my through a magnificent misty morning. The crew from the ‘Burley Griffin Canoe Club’ or I should call them the ‘Mist Busters’ were going through their paces and blasted past me as usual. It shaping up to be a fantastic day, so I hope you get the chance to get outside today and enjoy.

5.29am and I’m floating though the mist on the Molonglo River.

I found my self totally mesmerised.

I wasn’t in any hurry at all and I just found myself floating away.

Then from out of the mist burst the crew from the ‘Burley Griffin Canoe Club’

As usual they went flying by.

The ‘Mist Busters’ were on their way tearing up LBG.

For me it was a casual drift into the main basin.

Light winds and calm conditions once again….love it!

Two Tone Carillon

Others were floating into the morning as well.

Have a good one…enjoy the day.
Beautiful, beautiufl morning, thank you for sharing Paul. Have I missed pics from your China trip?
Hi Bernadette,
yet again another calm start to the day. No you haven’t missed the post from china at all, I’m still in the process of building it. I have been flat out since returning and also I’ve just selected the final shots. One problem though…..I’ve narrowed it down to 120….now to narrow again! I love them all. It would have been such a great daily blog from China, it’s just a pity the IP addresses were blocked.
Hopefully I will have it completed tomorrow, depends if I have another stunner sunrise, then its off to Syd for the weekend to catch the sculpture by the sea. I have been wanting to see that for years.
Hi Paul
That is excellant, I have been so looking forward to seeing them and was worried that I might have missed them, I could only imagine that the cull would be the hardest job. Enjoy your time in Sydney and I hope that it has been worth the wait
All the best, take care B
