13 Dec 2013: Pastel strobes beamed through the skies creating a unique natural light show this morning. The tones were sublime and the reflections once again were excellent.
How good is this place! I began with mirrored reflections on the Molonglo River, wowed by pastel beams, paddled through the Kingston Foreshore gauntlet and then finished off with drift into the wetlands. Truly amazing, it was a great way to end the working week.

A beautiful strobe sky, and I love the lime yellows and greens too…probably a willow tree. I hope you and your family enjoy a very happy Christmas, and good health, and good photography in 2014! Take care.
Hi Elizabeth,
Its been such a long time since I have seen the pink beams in the sky like that. Truly beautiful. They didn’t last for long, but for that 5 minutes it was quite unique. I agree, the greens and limes are magnificent. Thanks for the well wishes and the same too you as well.
Looking forward to the new discoveries during the holidays and as usually, I’ll have my pocket rocket Canon with me as well.
All the best and safe travels
Paul
I so enjoy your morning paddle pics. When I’m not on the water you remind me to get back there! Wishing the best jingle cheers to you and yours, CC
Hey ‘CC’ thanks so much! Wont be too long and I will be on holidays. Can’t wait, then there won’t be any times restraints 🙂
Thanks for the Jingle Cheers and the same for you as well.
All the best
Paul
