29 March 2014: There’s something special about slicing through glassy waters in the dark while being surrounded in fog. Autumn is here and I’m loving it, I was so excited the moment I open the door at 5.30am to discover that it was a foggy morning here in Canberra. The winds were no existent and I just couldn’t get myself down to the lake quick enough. It’s something that is hard to describe, but it’s an experience that is totally unique and something quite a surreal.

This shot would have to be one of my favourites for a while but sums up exactly how the morning was.
I hope that you have enjoyed the shots from this morning. Have a great weekend 🙂
These are gorgeous Paul. I love your big leaf and the way it’s doing weird and interesting stuff with the surface-tension of the water…quite magical. It seems to draw the water up and make it look like treacle. Autumn is here in the west too, so glorious for gardening. Have a great weekend, Jen
What a wonderful morning that was Jen. paddling in the fog is such a fantastic experience. I’m really looking forward the next few weeks and the range of colours that will be on display. Hopefully I will be able to capture a few nice moments.
Autumn is such a nice season…enjoy 🙂
I hope that you have a great weekend as well.
All the best
Paul
Beautiful photo and fog is such a wonderful environment to be kayaking in. Thanks.
