21 June 2014: It was a mystical paddle on Lake Burley Griffin this morning as the fog rolled in from the east basin continually changing the scenery. The water was super glassy and the sun was trying its best to burn through to lighten up the day. Just when it seemed that the blanket of fog was about lift, in rolled another wave. This made for a wonderful winter’s paddle.

7.06am: The fog seemed to be clearing

7.21am: The sun started to burn through

At this point I though it was going to turn on a fantastic lightshow

The entire basin was like a sheet of glass!

7.44am: The final glimpse of the National Library as the next wave is about to roll in.

A Winter’s Touch

8.06am: The thickening is happening.

It was such a dreamy start.

The Carillon looking spooky

It even had a medieval feel about.

A hint of blue.

Mysterious and Mystical

Winter in Canberra is excellent!

8.26am: Beyond the fog is a gorgeous winters day forming.

The lads are flying past me as usual

Flying through the haze

Its shaping up to be another stunning winter’s day here in Canberra.
