18 April 2015: Every now and again you experience something special and this morning was one those moments. I arrived at 5.50am to discover the lake shroud in light fog and initially I thought that the sun may struggle to burn through; well how wrong was I!
The conditions were breathless and soon the soft mauves and pinks began to dress the early morning sky.
I felt like I was floating in living art work
It was such a gorgeous morning to be out & about in Canberra
The colour transition was amazing.
I was in total awe of what was unfolding right before me
Then the sun slowly rose from behind the low level clouds in spectacular style
I wasn’t in any hurry at all, I wanted to enjoy every minute of it.
If you witnessed this anywhere else in the world you would be raving about it for years
Unbelievably Beautiful
Often the best experiences can be found right on your doorstep, all we have to do open the door.
I hope that you have enjoyed the photo story from this morning as much as I enjoyed capturing it. Have a great day.
Stunning, Paul….loved them all….thanks again for taking the time to share your life. No matter how busy I am I always open your emails…..and they always make my day! Jen
I just adore your work, Paul. I think I’m going to have to try ‘meditation by kayak’ once the kids go back to school.. and eventually, I’ll take a camera. Maybe…
I’m so glad you like the imagery. There is nothing better than gliding on glassy water amongst vivid reflections. Enjoy 🙂
So very beautiful and serene. I want to be there, getting a bit jealous! Wow
So glad you like the photography, there have been a few cracker sunrises lately. All the best
Wow. Just wow.
I think I probably use the word Awesome too much but it fits
So perfectly here! I’m in Perth but now I just want to come home
To Autumn and my beautiful lake … Thanks Paul
It has been an awesome Autumn so far and the ornamental pears are just about to burst into full reds. Hopefully I will be able to capture and share a few shots. All the best and have a great day 🙂
