This morning I have selected a few of my favourite shots (33) that showcase how wonderful the past year has been.Today is quite a significant day for me as it is marks 12 months since the Lake View blog commenced with the Canberra Times. This morning I have selected a few of my favourite shots that showcase how wonderful the past year has been. No two days are the same, and each day provides me with a natural light show that sometimes leaves me gasping in wonder. What I love about photography and paddling is that it provides me with an incredibly calm headspace.
I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I have enjoyed capturing these moments.

How lucky are we, the punters, to be a part of your journey? Thank you, Paul π

I’m so happy that you have come along for the ride. Thanks for clicking onto the site and commenting, but most of all I’m glad that you like the snap shots. All the best
Paul
How to choose?!!
Fabulous shots! I refer your site to all my overseas friends on Facebook!
I know Pat, I had exactly the same problem, I am so attached to them all and I can remember when each shot was taken. I’ve been so lucky to see and experience many beautiful places and moments, but there is sooooo much more I want to see and share. Many thanks for sharing my photos and the sites. Much appreciated.
I loved the photos without the bloody kayak nose in them .Very good Stephen
All the best Neil
Hey Neil,
Well the main thing is that you enjoyed the shots without the Red Chilli’s nose in them. But I don’t understand the ‘very good Stephen’ part.
Love your photos Paul, and so appreciate the fact you share them here.
Hey Leggypeggy,
I’m so glad that you liked them, many thanks!
There has been so many stunning sunrises and sunsets over the past twelve months, it was so hard to select which ones to load. Also I seem to take a few too many shots as well, I just can’t help it when the conditions are so good π Thanks for clicking on the site. All the best….Paul
I look forward to seeing your photos and even go back myself to review them thanks for sharing
No problems at all Narelle, I do the same thing as well. I have some many favourites, its hard to pick which one. it wild as I can remember when each shot is taken and the conditions at the time.
A positively marvellous collection Paul – I never tire of them (kayak “nose” and all!). Aren’t our brains incredible? …. that just by looking at an image we can be instantly transported (mentally) back to the time it was taken and recall the sounds and even smells of the occasion? Thanks so much for sharing the dawning of your days with us.
Thanks Valerie, so many great memories and a few nice captured moments. I like nose of the Red Chilli as well, hopefully it makes you feel like you are the one sitting in the kayak…..well that’s the idea anyway. I can’t wait to see what the next 12 months will bring π
Great shots. Still looks cold π
Thanks Ian, You soon forget about the cold when you have cracker conditions like this, but the last thing you want to do is capsize and fall in. The water temps in the middle of winter drop to five degrees.
