28 Dec 2013: The magical Maria River never disappoints. I always look forward to experiencing this wonderful river which really should be called the river of relaxation. I’m so lucky as there is so many arms of this stunning waterway for me to explore over the next 10 days….Can’t wait!

24 Dec 2013: The Surfing Santa’s always take time out from their busy world tour to have a surf at the magical Crescent Head on Christmas eve. They looked fantastic and great crowds turned out to be apart of this wonderful event. You can tell by the huge smiles that everyone had a great time. What a true Aussie Christmas. Merry Christmas to everyone and if you find small deposits of sand in your lounge room you’ll know that the Surfing Santa’s have been.
23 Dec 2013: KCM Base Camp is set up at Crescent Head for our annual sun and fun tour. I doesn’t take me long to click into cruise mode, bare footed and board shorts…only way to go 🙂

20 Dec 2013: Super Dooper Mega Wow! What a fantastic farewell to the week and for many, the working year as Mother Nature turned on a stunning display again this morning. I’m heading off today for a few weeks in search of rivers, estuaries, point breaks and the golden sands of the mid north coast. Keep an eye out as I’ll be loading a tribute to 2013 next week.
All the signs were there that it was going to be another stunner.

13 Dec 2013: Pastel strobes beamed through the skies creating a unique natural light show this morning. The tones were sublime and the reflections once again were excellent.
How good is this place! I began with mirrored reflections on the Molonglo River, wowed by pastel beams, paddled through the Kingston Foreshore gauntlet and then finished off with drift into the wetlands. Truly amazing, it was a great way to end the working week.

8 Dec 2013: I just sat on an escarpment with massive 180 degree views and experienced a gorgeous beginning. I had the entire Blue Mountains all to myself. Sunrise serenity is the only way to describe my sunrise experience this morning. I just want to see as many sunrises as possible…for me it’s as simple as that.
5.22am: I have the entire Blue mountains all to myself.
7 Dec 2013: This morning we decided to take off to the Blue Mountains for the weekend and what great day its been. The mountain ranges are majestic with its rugged cliff faces and its magnificent views that go for ages. I’m looking forward to experiencing a sunrise tomorrow, walking the giant stair case and strolling amongst the forest floor. It is such a beautiful part of the Australia and the world.
The view just goes for ever.
