About kayakcameraman

I’m a kayaker who has fallen in love with photography. You'll find me quietly snapping away at the unique seasonal changes that take place around me. I began paddling on the lake as a way to rebuild both my body and mind after enduring an intensive three-month bout of chemotherapy due to testicular cancer. I had never paddled a kayak prior to this and very quickly discovered how stunning it is to be on the water looking out – rather than in. What I love about photography and paddling is that it provides you with best head space. This is why I love my daily paddles, as it gives me peace and contentment along with some of the best natural light shows. Why would you not want to experience it!

Canberra Tribute 2015

There has been a myriad of magical moments throughout 2015 and I have continued to be mesmerised by the beauty of Canberra with each and every season offering a spectacle of colour.

I have been fortunate to paddle amongst soft pastel tones, drifted amongst hot air balloons and experienced many glorious golden sunrises and sunsets. Events such as Floriade, NightFest and the Balloon Spectacular have also been a delight to be part of.

I have found it extremely difficult to select photos so I hope that you enjoy these memorable moments of 2015.

Thank you to all who supported me by attending my first ever exhibition at Local Press Café, Kingston Foreshore or by purchasing my 2016 Calendar. I wish everyone a very merry Christmas and I hope that you have an enjoyable festive season with family and friends and I look forward to seeing and hearing from you in the New Year.

Cheers!
