I recently headed down to the South Coast, Eurobodalla region to paddle my way around Batemans Bay, Mackenzie’s Beach and Nelligen. I was privileged to explore some of the picturesque local waterways and its inhabitants, including a resident fur seal that put on a star performance for my visit. This is a massive photo roll of a wonderful winter coastal experience.
15 Aug 2015: The combination of glassy water and brilliant reflections on Lake Burley Griffin this morning made for a very enjoyable beginning to the weekend.
12 Aug 2015: Who would have ever thought that you be treated to such a star studded sunrise hours before we received a light dusting of snow today in Canberra. This city never ceases to amaze me!

5 Aug 2015: It was a turbulent and terrific beginning to Canberra this morning. The sky lit up in spectacular style but was soon shrouded by heavy snow clouds which are bringing great snow coverage to our Snowy Mountains region.
A winter getaway to Melbourne, Victoria was food for the soul with so many options on offer from historic laneways and byways filled with hip cafes and graffiti, to blockbuster sporting events such as the Champions League at the MCG. A leisurely drive to the famous Bells Beach and Torquay topped off a great winter escape.

10 July 2015: This morning’s sky exploded in sensational style. I could tell by the early formations that this was going to be a memorable sunrise. You usually find that our skies light up prior to the on coming rain and this morning was no exception.
5 July 2015: What a cracker of a sunset! There is no better way to end the day than drifting amongst gorgeous rich reflections. Winter in Canberra is never dull.
