14 July 2014: It felt like I was paddling through a corridor of mirrored reflections on the magical Maria River on the mid north coast. The scenery was stunning and I had the entire upper section of the river all to myself. This is one river that constantly treats me to many wonderful experiences every time I explore it. I hope you like the photostory.
9 July 2014: It was a chilly paddle in the Red Chilli this morning. The day began with soft subtle tones to the west and the water was like a sheet of glass with light mist dancing on the surface. It didn’t take long for the day begin in stunning style and I was treated to many gorgeous crisp reflections. You know it’s cold when the water turns to ice on the hatch of your kayak. 28 June 2014: The gorgeous reflections that I experienced this morning was the last thing I expected as the forecast was for windy conditions early on and by mid morning the weather was meant to turn extremely bleak (which it did). I was lucky enough to find this little patch of peace and calm on the section where the Molonglo River meets with LBG. It was here that I was treated to a very pretty start to Saturday. The quote from Pablo Picasso “Everything you can imagine is real” pretty much sums up my morning paddle. I hope you enjoy the photo’s.
22 June 2014: The temps may have been crisp, but it was definitely a very peaceful paddle into the wetlands this morning. I hope you enjoyed the trip.
All the signs indicated that it was going to be a beautiful start to the day.
21 June 2014: It was a mystical paddle on Lake Burley Griffin this morning as the fog rolled in from the east basin continually changing the scenery. The water was super glassy and the sun was trying its best to burn through to lighten up the day. Just when it seemed that the blanket of fog was about lift, in rolled another wave. This made for a wonderful winter’s paddle.
7.06am: The fog seemed to be clearing
“A few days ago I walked along the edge of the lake and was treated to the crunch and rustle of leaves with each step I made. The acoustics of this season are different and all sounds, no matter how hushed, are as crisp as autumn air.” This quote by Eric Sloane sums up autumn in Canberra perfectly as it has been absolutely stunning this year. So beautiful, I decided to put a compilation of my favourite autumn experiences. I have been treated to many gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and even bedazzled by hot air balloons drifting on LBG during the balloon festival. Canberra has been amass with a wonderful spectrum of colours as we have transitioned from summer into winter. I hope that you enjoy my photostory of autumn.
5 June 2014: It felt like I was drifting amongst the clouds this afternoon. I’m so glad I managed to squeeze in a quick 45 minute paddle on LBG as there’s no better way to end a working day.

18 May 2014: I love feeling the sand between my toes and listening to waves methodically crash on the bank while a gorgeous sunrise is taking place. This was such a lovely way to begin the day, but then it was off to paddle and explore the beautiful Bumbo Creek. This creek is absolutely stunning and picture perfect as we paddled on super smooth mirrored waters for the entire 4hour duration. The wild life was superb and the reflections were out of this world. I hope that you enjoy the photostory from Tuross Head.

9 May 2014: WOW…. What a morning! There’s nothing better than drifting your way into a gorgeous pastel sunrise while floating amongst pink mist, it’s truly such a beautiful experience. The conditions were near perfect, the colours were superb and the morning transformation was yet again brilliant.
