18 Feb 2015: There was a beautiful blend of colour, activity and wild life on LBG this morning. Soft tones turned to gold, the rowers were enjoying the serene conditions and the wild life was on full display to top it all off. How lucky are we to have so much diversity right on our doorstep!

Sunset Sensation
Magnificent Monday Morning
16 Feb 2015: Magnificent, superb, brilliant and beautiful are a few ways to describe my sunrise experience this morning. The cloud and colour combinations left me speechless and in awe. What a wonderful way to start the working week, I hope you have a great day.
Brindabella Beauty
15 Feb 2015: It was gorgeous finale to a wonderful weekend with the beautiful blues skies that slowly morphed into a stunning caramelised sunset. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
Tasteful Paddle
14 Feb 2015: Soft subtle tones and calm conditions made for perfect conditions to test drive my new canon 70D camera. I paddled into the picturesque Jerrabomberra Wetlands which showcased the waterlilies in bud, willows dancing on the water and an abundance of birdlife.
Don’t let the overcast conditions deter you from venturing into the National Multicultural Festival with sensational food on offer and some great local bands to entertain you. Be sure to stop by the Croatian stall and sample some of the food from my heritage.
Sheer Delight
12 Feb 2015: Early pink and mauve tones dressed the morning sky and transformed with stunning colour and cloud combinations. This Canberra lightshow was completed with vivid gold’s and blues leaving one in total awe. It felt like I was paddling in a living painting.
Superb Summer Sunday
8 Feb 2015: Another glorious summer morning’s start in Canberra with picture perfect blue skies, mild temps and only a whisper of wind. I had the entire main basin all to myself to just drift and enjoy the morning unfold. It’s going to be a warm one with expected temperatures of 34 degrees.
Pocket of Peace and Calm
3 Feb 2015: It was nice to find a little pocket of peace and calm on LBG to watch the sun go down.
Brief But Beautiful
1 Feb 2015: The sky may have only momentarily lit up for 5 minutes this morning, but it was certainly a spectacle to be seen. Yet again it was an overcast morning and then out of nowhere the sky lit up and enlightened all who were fortunate to be out and about on this first day of February.
Soothing Saturday
31 Jan 2015: It was a lovely morning for a leisurely paddle and to swan around on Lake Burley Griffin. Initially it seemed as though the clouds were going to extinguish the sunrise, but it didn’t take long for the sun to burn through the cloud to ignite the day in stunning style.
