8 Feb 2014: The swans were floating amongst pastel tones, there were hovering balloons and I was treated to golden sunrise. Crystal clear blue skies soon took over as I paddled my way into another stunning Canberra day. It doesn’t get much better than this, the conditions were so good that my planned 2 hour paddle turned into a 4 hour pleasure cruise.
5.49am: The morning was so good that even the local were just floating around and were in no hurry at all.
2 Feb 2014: I floated my into Sunday with a concoction of hovering balloons combined with a golden sunrise and served on top of mirrored waters. Thanks Canberra once again you served up my morning order perfectly.

1 Feb 2014: This morning I drifted into a gorgeous golden sunrise with Emma Macdonald in ‘The Big Bopper’ my double Kayak on Lake Burley Griffin. There wasn’t any need for speed at all as the conditions were near perfect. The temperature was spot on and the winds were non existent, these combinations made for a very enjoyable experience watching the day begin. I think that our highest warp speed was a blistering 500 metres per hour and to top it all off we were treated to a pier side coffee delivery from from Remedy which is located at the Kingston foreshore. The company was fantastic and the sunrise was brilliant…what a perfect way to start the day.
5.29am: This is shaping up to be an excellent morning.
30 Jan 2014: It started out as such a peaceful paddle this morning, the winds were light and the temperature was perfect. Then the morning transformation started to take place with soft pastels gradually lighting up the morning skies and finished off with a electric finale. Canberra you’ve done it again!

27 Jan 2014: Golden light flooded the morning skies to make it a very enjoyable start on Lake Burley Griffin, Canberra this morning. Yet again the conditions were superb with light winds, crystal clear skies and a golden sunrise to top it all off. 21 Jan 2014: The ever happy Dragons Abreast ladies certainly added a huge splash of colour to a dull Canberra morning and there were plenty of other people out on the water enjoying the calm conditions as well. It was nice to catch up and have a chat again, you all looked fantastic out there and thanks for brightening up my morning.

19 Jan 2014: A gorgeous pink sun slowly rose in a sky that was full of delicate hues. Then right on cue the Questacon balloon began to take off right in front of me, I couldn’t believe my luck and the timing was perfect.

16 Jan 2014: This morning I had my daily tonic of soothing tones and magic reflections. Seeing the day being like this is my morning mediation and it’s such a huge part of my life since I began paddling and photographing after finishing treatment over two years ago. Every sunrise has its own unique signature and this morning’s sunrise definitely hit the spot.

15 Jan 2014: What a stunner! I’m speechless, that was excellent, brilliant, fantastic, gorgeous…someone get me a thesaurus please. I hope that you enjoy the shots as I know I’ll be floating for the rest of the day…WOW, now that was a sunrise!

14 Jan 2014: The sunrise this morning was like a giant yoke splitting open and flooding light. The last few days the sunrises and sunsets have be absolutely stunning and this morning was no exception. I hope that you enjoy the shots and have a great day.
