12 July 2014:The melodic tones of the crashing surf combined beautifully with a golden sunrise to make for a very relaxed start to the day. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the day begin from the picturesque Newcastle Ocean Baths this morning.

Chilly in the Chilli
9 July 2014: It was a chilly paddle in the Red Chilli this morning. The day began with soft subtle tones to the west and the water was like a sheet of glass with light mist dancing on the surface. It didn’t take long for the day begin in stunning style and I was treated to many gorgeous crisp reflections. You know it’s cold when the water turns to ice on the hatch of your kayak. I hope that you enjoy the shots from my icy paddle on LBG this morning.

Sunset Stunner
8 July 2014: Now that was a stunning way to end the day. I hope you enjoy the photo story of a beautiful sunset.
Foglicious
7 July 2014: You soon forget about the -3 degree wintery conditions and brittle twig like fingers when you are treated to a spectacular morning. LBG was cloaked in heavy fog but the sun managed to shine through and eventually burnt off transitioning Canberra into a brilliant clear day with perfect mirror reflections of our iconic buildings, The National Museum of Australia and Black Mountain Tower. What a cracker way to start the working week.
Molonglo Mirror
6 July 2014: Winter is here but never fear you can always find a smooth section of water to kick back and enjoy the morning. The winds were up this morning so I decided to paddle up the Molonglo River as I knew that it would prove me a chance to snap a few nice shots. I hope that you agree.

Soothing Session
5 July 2014: Despite the chilly conditions the soft soothing hues and brilliant reflections on LBG made for a pleasant paddle. The glow of the sunrise shone through the belt of aubergine snow clouds that hovered low over the Canberra basin.

Crisp and Clear
Yeeehaaaaa it’s crisp with clear blue skies in Canberra today. The Brindabella’s looked very cool this morning as they are dusted with a coating of snow after a weekend of torrent weather. The air temps are cooling down but the scenery is definitely hot. Have a great day!
16 June 2014: The temperature may be dropping as winter settles in but the scenery was fantastic. The low cloud and scattered mist created an excellent atmosphere in Canberra this morning.
Wild Sunset Sky
12 June 2014: There is no better way to end the day. I had a brief 40 minute window of opportunity between finishing work and having to pick up little Louis from the school disco. I tell you, it was well worth the effort as the sunset was superb and it was exactly what I needed. I hope you enjoy the shots 🙂
