28 March 2016: Another spectacular sunrise over Newcastle Ocean Baths, NSW AUSTRALIA. The swell was up with waves crashing over the historic Ocean Baths and running into the children’s pool, known to many as the Canoe Pool. This is my home town where I would frequently run along this very pool, surfboard in hand to jump off the rocks and into the ocean. This is one of my favourite destinations which evokes many good memories of my youth and I relish the opportunity to share this beautiful part of the coast with you . 
Coastal Zen
26 March 2016: This morning I was immersed in a golden sunrise as I strolled on Nobbys Beach – Newcastle.
20 out of 10
24 March 2016: The judges score have just been tallied from this morning’s sunrise and unsurprisingly it’s a unanimous vote of 20 out of 10.
Fantastic Finale
20 March 2016: It was a fantastic finale to what has been another wonderful Balloon Spectacular. We have been treated to an array of visual delights once again by the pilots who put on a brilliant display. Only 365 days to go until our skies and waterways are dotted with balloons. I can’t wait !
Balloons with a View
19 March 2016: The lawns of Old Parliament House were dotted with balloons early on this morning due to unfavourable winds. Most people would consider this a bad thing, but on the contrary, this allowed me and many other family’s the opportunity to get up close and personal with the balloons, the pilots and the support crew. For me this was a first time experience as I am accustomed to seeing the balloons from a waters perspective. The close contact left me wanting more, even after 2 hours of cruising my way amongst the sounds and colours. I had the opportunity to liaison with the people who are truly passionate about ballooning and that make this event a wonderful occasion for us all.
It was a Hoot of a morning
