Tantalising and Turbulent
Sunday 30 November 2014: Words cannot express the sunrise this morning. There was so much variety with the scenery transitioning from what looked like a pot of molten gold to a perfect rainbow arcing over the city scape. The clouds formations were amazing, often turbulent and forever changing.
Day of Discovery
29 Nov 2014: Today’s paddle started with an electric sunrise and sent me on a day of discovery. The colour of spring was reflected in the underwater world with fuchsia tangled tree roots glowing below the water’s surface.

Brilliant reflections to start the day
Calm and Crisp
The sun peeped through the cloud cover to unveil a beautiful morning. The calm and crisp conditions created a beautiful atmosphere and there was plenty of activity with rowers, surf boats and kayakers enjoying the scenery.

23 Nov 2014: What a spectacular sunrise this morning. This seems to be a typical pattern prior to a change in weather. Parts of the ACT reached a scorching 41 degrees today and the weather forecast is for storms and rain which will be well received by many.

9 Nov 2014: A warmer morning start reminded one that summer is just around the corner. The lake was calm and the spectacular tangerine sunrise made for a picture perfect lazy Sunday paddle on LBG.
Bewildered by Beauty and Balloons
8 Nov 2014: The transition from early pastel tones through to a golden sunrise was superb this morning. This, topped with a spot of hot air balloon chasing on Lake Burley Griffin made for a fabulous start to the weekend.
Burst of Brilliance
5 Nov 2014: It was a moody and broody morning on LBG this morning, but there was a brief burst of brilliance as sun popped out from behind the curtain of clouds. It was totally unexpected and such a lovely surprise.
