9 May 2014: WOW…. What a morning! There’s nothing better than drifting your way into a gorgeous pastel sunrise while floating amongst pink mist, it’s truly such a beautiful experience. The conditions were near perfect, the colours were superb and the morning transformation was yet again brilliant. 6 May 2014:I love how the mist turns gold just as the sun pops. The light was so soft, mist was hovering all around and the water was like a sheet of glass. Now that is definitely a beautiful recipe, I love my misty morning paddles on LBG and this morning didn’t disappoint. It’s shaping up to be gorgeous autumn day in Canberra and I hope that it is an enjoyable one for you.

1 May 2014: It was classic Canberra this morning with crystal clear skies, there was light mist hovering amongst the hills and our gorgeous autumn colours were truly spectacular. That was a very pretty and peaceful paddle indeed.
29 April 2014: I drifted away on glassy waters watching the sun burn through the mist to produce a magical atmosphere this morning. The temperatures maybe getting cooler here in Canberra but that’s why the conditions are so stunning. The wind were calm, the scenery was stunning and the light was fantastic. I’m loving autumn in Canberra.
18 April 2014: It felt like a hand was going to reach out from the depths and grab me.
18 April 2014: LBG definitely had an alpine feel about it this morning with mist hovering in the valleys and the surrounding mountains. At 5.45am the sky was clear and I was being treated to some very soft morning tones. The scenery changed dramatically when the fog rolled in from the East Basin blanketing the entire lake and creating a mystical scene.

17 April 2014: This morning I was engulfed by a golden misty blanket and transported to a world of sheer beauty. The elements were all on my side with clear skies, non existent winds and water like a sheet of glass. I’m absolutely loving autumn in Canberra.
15 April 2014: I was engulfed by golden mist and shards of light as I paddled my way into the Jerrabomberra Wetlands this morning. I am always in awe of the scenery on display in our nation’s capital. It really is breathtakingly beautiful at this time of the year and I encourage others to experience what Canberra has to offer.
WOW…. I could sit here ranting and raving but hopefully the pictures will tell the story of what it was like out there on LBG this morning. What a truly sublime sunrise that was, it really blew me away!
