I don’t know what it is, but I love silhouettes.

The Sun and Fun Tour of 2012-13
Every year we disappear to Crescent Head on the mid north coast for a six week camping adventure for a bit of sand, sun and fun and as usual it didn’t disappoint. The locals will kill me for letting the cat out of the bag, but it’s brilliant!
Reflections of 2012
I thought that I would load a few shots from 2012.
You may have seen a few shots already, but I’m pretty sure that there will be a few here that you haven’t seen.
Pink Sunrises
Pink sunrises; they’re few and far between but I have been lucky enough to experience a few while paddling Lake Burley Griffin.
It certainly had the WOW factor that morning!
The natural light show was amazing
I thought it couldn’t get any better!
Over the last few weeks I have been blown away by the light show that LBG (Lake Burley Griffin) has put on.
Each day I thought that there is no way that it could get any better……but the lake keeps proving me wrong.
A morning mystery
At 6.27am, the sky was crystal clear, promising a beautiful day in Canberra.
7.13am, the mist had rolled in from the wetlands, making it look like a scene from Harry Potter.
But the mist and fog disappeared as quickly as it came to leaving us with a stunning day in the Capital.
10.37am, It was such blooming good day that I had to take the plywood kayak out for a spin!
Spring has sprung
A different perspective
It was minus 5 that morning; you know its cold when the water freezes and turns to ice on your kayak hatch. I remember it well, the lake was covered in fog, the water was like a sheet of glass and then suddenly the fog cleared and the morning sun burst through long enough for me to race over underneath the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge to snap this shot.
Minutes later the lake was engulfed again.
