22 April 2014: Wonderful memories came flooding back as I was bathed in golden light on Newcastle Beach and the Newcastle Ocean Baths this morning. I spent the majority of my youth scampering and jumping off Newcastle Point for a surf, swimming in the Newcastle Ocean Baths and chasing waves at Nobbys Beach. This is such a gorgeous stretch and I thoroughly enjoyed wondering around my old stomping grounds this morning. I hope that you enjoy the shots.
21 April 2014: What a wonderful welcoming in Newcastle this morning. I’m looking forward to spending the next few days enjoying the sand, the sun and the fun that Newcastle provides.

18 April 2014: It felt like a hand was going to reach out from the depths and grab me.
18 April 2014: LBG definitely had an alpine feel about it this morning with mist hovering in the valleys and the surrounding mountains. At 5.45am the sky was clear and I was being treated to some very soft morning tones. The scenery changed dramatically when the fog rolled in from the East Basin blanketing the entire lake and creating a mystical scene.

17 April 2014: This morning I was engulfed by a golden misty blanket and transported to a world of sheer beauty. The elements were all on my side with clear skies, non existent winds and water like a sheet of glass. I’m absolutely loving autumn in Canberra.
16 April 2014: Canberra’s landmark buildings and structures that are a part of Lake Burley Griffin and our cityscape accompanied a beautiful autumn morning. This is why I love paddling LBG as it constantly provides me with a huge variety of experiences and never ceases to amaze me.
15 April 2014: I was engulfed by golden mist and shards of light as I paddled my way into the Jerrabomberra Wetlands this morning. I am always in awe of the scenery on display in our nation’s capital. It really is breathtakingly beautiful at this time of the year and I encourage others to experience what Canberra has to offer.
12 April 2014: Heavy clouds hovered over the Brindabella Mountain range but the sun still managed to break through lighting up the sky with warm soothing tones.
WOW…. I could sit here ranting and raving but hopefully the pictures will tell the story of what it was like out there on LBG this morning. What a truly sublime sunrise that was, it really blew me away!
8 April 2014: Words can’t really describe what I experienced this afternoon, but hopefully the pictures will convey the feeling of what it was like to be out on the water and drift your way into a beautiful sunset. The winds were light, the light was superb and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my sunset serenade…..I hope that you enjoy it as well.
