I am so excited to showcase my photographs of CBR that are on huge 2.4m high x 4m long panels. The Jamieson Apartments are home to the images and each of the nine levels has its own Canberra scene. I have to say that they look amazing!
I love how you are greeted by the image the moment the elevator door opens and how the images bring an element of Canberra’s atmosphere inside the building. The images are printed to a vinyl surface that is glued onto an Alucobond Panel which is coated with a Matt Laminate. The building is secure and is not accessible to the public, so this will be my first and last viewing of the artwork. Hopefully there will be more KCM ART PANELS that will be able to viewed publically in the future. The Jamieson Apartments and Art Panels were designed by Cox Architecture and I am also happy to announce that the building has been entered into the Australian Institute of Architecture awards Canberra Chapter in the Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing Category.

Autumn Rain
Morning of Tranquillity
6 April 2015: Tranquil tones set the mood for Easter Monday. We are usually treated to a gorgeous sunrise prior to a change in the conditions. Inclement weather has set in and much needed rain is gently falling upon our nation’s capital. Even the swans were ducking for cover!
Drift Amongst the Mist
31 March 2015: How good is Autumn in CBR! This is such a gorgeous time of year with crystal clear blue skies and the cooler temperatures are creating a magical misty morning to paddle on Lake Burley Griffin. I’m loving every minute of it.

Simply Stunning Sunset
30 March 2015: I could rant and rave about how amazing tonight’s sunset was, but it’s better to let the photos do the talking. Hope you enjoy the shots

Mesmerised by the Mist
23 March 2015: The autumn mist created an awesome atmosphere on LBG this morning. The overnight temperatures are dropping and it won’t be too long before we will be adorned by the glorious colours of autumn as the leaves begin to change.
Sunday Morning Special
22 March 2015: My request this morning was for a golden sunrise with a side order of wild reflections and luckily for me Mother Nature delivered my order to perfection. I hope you have a great day with your family and friends 🙂
Fantastic Finale
15 March 2015: I will certainly miss the sound of burners blasting and the colourful array of balloons during my morning paddle. What a fantastic finale to the Canberra Balloon Spectacular. Despite the early wind the balloons launched from Old Parliament House and drifted over LBG saying their final hoorah to all those who ventured out during the spectacular. The pilots have put on such an amazing display showcasing their craft, skill and expertise and I consider myself fortunate to have witnessed this event from a waters perspective. Most mornings I had balloons drifting by the nose of my kayak and on occasion, I was towed along the surface of Lake Burley Griffin. Words cannot describe the daily visual delight that we have been treated to over the last week and I look forward to what the balloonists have install for next year.
Stunning Saturday morning in CBR for the Balloon Spectacular
14 March 2015: It has been such a wonderful experience. Canberra is one of the best locations as this event provides the ever happy balloonist’s the opportunity to put on a stunning display. Crowds can easily line the shore lines and see this spectacular from so many different angles, whether it be from the shoreline or from a water perspective….. and just think, it’s all happens right on our front door step and it totally free.
What an amazing balloon spectacular it has been and this morning didn’t disappoint. There were hot air balloons drifting on the waters of LBG and a multitude balloons floating overhead as well, with some only one a metre away me. This has been one of the best events I have ever experienced!
Doesn’t get any better than this!
