High Voltage Viewing

26 April 2013: What an electric morning. I decided to venture into the wetlands this morning for a peaceful paddle as the winds were up a little. The sky this morning was amazing and the calmness of the wetlands combined together to produce some stunning landscapes scenery. How lucky are we to have something like this on our door step. I don’t think that there would be too many other Capital cities in the world that have a wetland environment five minutes from its CBD. I hope that you enjoy a few snap shots from this morning.

Cruising the waterways of Tuross Head

April 2013: I headed down to Tuross Head with three of my mates for a boy’s weekend away. We arrived to massive seas, rainy conditions and a huge southerly that was gusting up to 50 Km’s. These inclement conditions would normally drive most people indoors for the afternoon, but for us, we just put on a rain jacket and went in search for area’s that were protected from these gusty conditions. Tuross head and its surrounding areas are the perfect place as there is  a multitude of meandering waterways to suits any scenario. So in true style we dived head first into our boy’s weekend away. I hope you like the photo story.

High winds and rainy conditions does not deter us!

Wetlands Zen

24 Feb 2013: There was a brief break from the wind and the rain this morning so I decided to venture up in the Jerrabomberra Wetlands for a bit of Zen. It hard to believe that the wetlands are only five kilometres from the CBD of Canebrra. You would swear that you are miles away from anything!
